AVP-USA Peace Fellowship is an opportunity for up to 5  AVP Facilitators interested in working to gain new experiences with AVP-USA. The Peace Fellows Fellowship Program is an opportunity to participate with AVP-USA on the national level. The fellows will work towards a project together to further the AVP Mission and values. The Peace Fellowship is an equal opportunity program; however, we will prioritize and encourage QTBIPOC (Queer, Trans, Black, Indigenous, People Of Color), womxn, formerly incarcerated, DREAMERS, differently-abled applicants, and other systems-impacted applicants. Eligibility Requirements: Must be a trained AVP Facilitator Not a previous Peace Fellow recipient Complete application Attend an hour interview AVP Peace Fellows Responsibilities: Commit to Peace Fellow Cohort activities from September to May 31st. Participate as a member of the Conference, Standing National Committee (e.g., Committees include: CLARG, Communications, Conference, Education, Finance/Fundraising and Research & Higher Education). Participate in bi-weekly Monday 7:00 PM -9:00 PM EST  AVP Peace Fellows on Zoom starting   September and ending May 30th. Attend the National Gathering and Present a group legacy project. Serve as an AVP ambassador in your local community. Benefits to Peace Fellows: Conference registration for the AVP-USA Annual Gathering. Roundtrip transportation to/from the Gathering within the United States. Professional development and mentoring opportunities Peer networking to strengthen AVP. Receive a stipend of $1000.
